Card of the day: one piece of advice for today

Draw a card once — and it stays yours until midnight. Not a prophecy but a bearing: what to lean on today and what to hold back from.

How this differs from a horoscope

A personal draw, not a zodiac sign

A horoscope is one for a twelfth of humanity; the card of the day is drawn for you personally.

Holds until midnight

Come back in an hour or in the evening — the card is the same, and a repeat visit costs no energy.

Advice, not a forecast

The card does not promise events — it highlights how to live the day: where to push and where to slow down.

78 cards, both positions

The full deck; the card can land reversed — and then the advice reads differently.

How it works

  1. Draw the card of the day — one tap, no question needed
  2. Read the advice: what works for you today and what to watch
  3. Come back during the day — the card is pinned until midnight
  4. Open the full card meaning — the link is under every advice

Why draw a card every day

The card of the day is the oldest daily tarot practice: one card in the morning sets the lens you look at the day through. The point is not prophecy but focus: the Eight of Wands nudges you not to postpone, the Hermit gives permission not to answer everything at once.

The draw is pinned to you for the day: the server remembers the card until midnight, and a repeat visit shows the same one with no energy charge. Tomorrow the deck is shuffled anew.

Questions about this reading

Is it free?

Yes. New users get starting energy points — enough for the first readings with no payment and no sign-up.

Why does the card not change?

By design: there is one card per day. If it could be redrawn, it would not be a card of the day but shuffling until the answer feels nice. A new draw opens after midnight.

Does a repeat visit cost energy?

No. Only the first draw of the day is charged; while the card is pinned, every return to it is free.

Can the card land reversed?

Yes, as in any reading. Reversed is not “bad” — it shifts the advice: the Chariot upright says “push through”, reversed — “do not force it”.
