One card, a straight answer — and why the card answers this way

Free online tarot reading. Ask a question — one of all 78 cards falls out at random, and the answer is read from what is drawn on it. No sign-up.

How this differs from a coin flip

The answer has a reason

The verdict is built from the card that fell and what is drawn on it, not pulled out of thin air.

An honest draw

The server draws the card at random from all 78 — the AI cannot pick a nicer one for you.

Reversed answers differently

The same card upright and reversed leads to different answers, and you are always told how it fell.

No back-to-back repeats

Your three latest cards are excluded from the deck — the reading will not grind the same card over and over.

How to ask

  1. Phrase your question — a closed yes-or-no or an open one, both work
  2. Draw a card — one falls out of the full deck
  3. Read the answer and what on the card leads to it
  4. Open the full card meaning — the link is in every reading

How a single card answers a question

A one-card draw is the oldest way to ask the deck a question, and it works because the cards already have a direction. The Sun, the Star and the Ace of Cups lean towards “yes”; the Eight of Swords, the Five of Pentacles and the Hanged Man lead away from it or to “not yet”. A reversed position flips or dampens that charge — which is why we always tell you exactly how the card fell.

The draw itself is done by the server, at random, from the full deck of 78: the AI is handed the card that fell and is forbidden to change it, so a “no” stays a “no” even when a “yes” would read nicer. In return you get both the verdict and the reasoning — what is drawn on the card and how it answers your question.

Questions about this reading

Is it free?

Yes. New users get starting energy points — enough for the first readings with no payment and no sign-up.

How is the card chosen?

At random, by the server, from all 78 cards; some draws land reversed. The AI only interprets the card that fell and cannot choose it.

What if the card is reversed?

A reversed position usually flips or softens the card’s direction: the Star upright reads as a clear “yes”, reversed — as “yes, but not while you are in this state”. You are always told how the card fell.

Can I ask again?

You can, but the deck remembers your three latest cards and will not let them fall again — a new reading is genuinely new, not a redraw of the same card.
