How to Convert HEIC to JPG Online
HEIC is the photo format iPhone and iPad use by default since iOS 11. It saves storage space, but Windows, Android phones, older photo editors, Word documents and most websites still cannot open it. What Is a HEIC File
HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) stores a photo encoded with the HEVC codec. At the same visual quality it takes roughly half the space of JPG, which is why Apple made it the default for the iPhone camera. The trade-off is compatibility: outside the Apple ecosystem support is still patchy, and a photo that looks fine on the phone becomes an unopenable file the moment you send it to a colleague on Windows. Converting to JPG makes the photo slightly larger but universally readable.

Does converting HEIC to JPG reduce quality?
JPG is a lossy format, so a tiny loss is unavoidable. At 90% quality it is invisible to the eye, and at 100% the difference from the original is practically undetectable.
Why will my HEIC photo not open on Windows?
Windows needs a separate HEVC codec pack to display HEIC, and it is not installed by default. Converting the photo to JPG solves the problem once and for all.
Are my photos stored on the server?
The uploaded photo and the result are kept temporarily so you can download the file, and are then deleted automatically. You can also delete any result yourself right from the card.
Can I convert a Live Photo?
